SMS Terms & Conditions
Program name: Mechanic Makeover Notifications.
Who texts you: Mechanic Makeover (the platform used by independent mobile mechanic shops). Support: support@mechanicmakeover.com. Website: https://mechanicmakeover.com.
Types of messages: Automated transactional SMS only — booking confirmations, deposit receipts, dispatch status, live tracking alerts, mechanic arrival notices, and related customer-service updates for a job you booked. We do not use this program for marketing or promotional blasts.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on the status of your job. You may receive several texts around booking, dispatch, and completion; you will not receive a set number of marketing messages.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier.
Opt-in: You opt in by providing your mobile number and checking an unchecked consent box that states: “I agree to receive automated transactional updates, booking confirmations, and dispatch status alerts from Mechanic Makeover. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt-out or HELP for help.” Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may complete a booking without agreeing to SMS.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further Mechanic Makeover Notifications messages unless you opt in again. Reply START or provide a new opt-in if you want alerts again.

Carriers: Supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Agreement
These terms govern use of Mechanic Makeover websites, booking pages, mechanic dashboards, and related services. By booking a job or enabling SMS updates, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
Mechanic Makeover is a software platform. Independent mechanic shops provide the repair work. Deposits and invoices are processed through Stripe. Live tracking depends on the mechanic allowing location while they are en route.
Payments & cancellations
Deposit and invoice amounts are set by the shop. Refunds, no-show fees, and cancellation rules are disclosed at checkout or in shop communications. Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled with Stripe and the shop that performed or was scheduled to perform the work.
Limitation of liability
The platform is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mechanic Makeover is not liable for shop workmanship, parts, delays, or vehicle damage arising from the mechanic’s service. Shops remain responsible for their labor and licenses.
